Bacterial Vaginosis – It IS Better to Treat it Naturally

It is not easy having bacterial vaginosis because it is really shameful to get along with friends having unpleasant vaginal odor. The common symptoms of these are thin white or gray vaginal discharge, unpleasant odor, itchiness, burning sensation during urination process and pain every sexual intercourse.

Some doctor will recommend antibiotic as a cure but it will just cost you a lot of money because it only cures for a short period of time and then come back again. The explanation for this is that antibiotics kill both the good and bad bacteria. Our body needs good bacteria to fight against bad bacteria and also helps to eliminate vaginal odor. This is why BV keeps coming back because of the tendency that bad bacteria will overwhelm good ones.

The very first thing to do is to change your way of life. You have to discipline yourself to obtain your goal in eliminating vaginal odor. Have a healthy diet; avoid foods such as sugar, cheese, caffeine, chocolate and especially alcohol. Make sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables everyday. This will provide minerals and vitamins the body requires to heal and prevent BV.

It is also advised to drink plenty of water because it helps to circulate the nutrients provided by your diet. Water also helps to ensure proper circulation and will make the immune system works properly.

Exercise at least three times a week to burn the stress and helps to keep the heart strong. Stress is one of the reasons of having weak immune system and this can lead to BV.

As a summary, help yourself by having a discipline on your own. By this, you will avoid not just BV but also another possible disease.
